generator backup protection relay is applicable to the generator protection that the water turbine capacity whose power is not more than 10MW, the turbine generator capacity whose power dose not exceed 100MW ,The protection device has the specialized protective function of the generator sets of compound voltage lockout over current protection, negative sequence over current protection, field loss protection, reverse power protection, stator earthing protection and so on,formed a complete protection of the generator together with the 9698 (differential protection of the generator) and the 9689 (generator ground protection) .
